1:1 Exercise Physiology

Using exercise as treatment, our health professionals will get you moving with specific, evidence-based practice. This will involve an initial assessment where we find out about you, and your goals and determine a baseline via testing. Putting together a treatment plan and executing this with close monitoring to ensure it will help you achieve your desired outcome whether it be weight loss, reduction in pain, or improved quality of life!

Group Rehabilitation

Our group rehabilitation classes involve you coming into the clinic to complete the program we have developed during the initial consultation. Often our clients prefer to be supervised when completing their exercises to make sure they have the correct technique. Sometimes people can find exercise to be quite 'boring' and the group rehabilitation training allows for more social interaction with other people to make the training more fun.

Pilates

Pilates was developed in the 1920's as a form of rehabilitation for people in the war. At EMP Disability we focus on the more classic style of Pilates, using the key principles to allow people to move optimally.

Breath, Control, Coordination, Centre, Flow, and Precision.

These core Pilates principles are what we base our sessions around.
